THE WORLD UNDERGROUND – Episode 1 : CHINA

It’s here, and I’m happy to say it’s awesome. Makes me homesick for a place that wasn’t my true home, but sure felt like it for awhile.

Just finished watching it. It IS awesome! What a beautiful piece of work, what an achievement… I admire and envy you at the same time, John Yingling!

I need to carve out some time to watch this, but since it premiered today, and everyone seems to be sharing it, here is is!!

From John Yingling: WE ARE LIVE.  Watch a feature-length film on China’s various music scenes.  Listen or download over 50 live recordings.  Connect with labels and artists across the globe.  There are multiple ways to watch this film, and to donate if you so choose.  The point of releasing this all for free, is the hope of doing it again.  Throw down if you’re able, or just spread the word.  Word of mouth is all this thing needs anymore.  If you have supported us already, please, just enjoy.  Dive in.  Thank You.  Cheers.
